Amanda & Marc’s winter wedding at The Timber Barn was exactly that. Cozy, emotional, and full of heart… with a surprise mini blizzard to top it all off.

Timber Barn holds a special place in my heart. It was one of the first venues I ever photographed when I started my business, and every time I’m back, I’m reminded why couples love it so much. Warm wood tones, so much character, and an atmosphere that instantly feels welcoming, especially in the winter.

Snow, Just Like They Hoped For

Amanda & Marc were hoping for snow… and Mother Nature absolutely delivered. Big flakes started falling, turning St. Jacobs into a winter wonderland and giving the entire day this calm, magical feel. It was one of those moments where you can’t help but smile and think, this is exactly how it was meant to be. The snow added such a peaceful, almost movie like layer to their day.

What stood out most wasn’t just the snow it was how present Amanda & Marc were with each other and with every single guest. With a smaller guest count, the love in the room was impossible to miss. The reception was stunning. It was warm, romantic, and perfectly suited for a winter celebration. Their first dance was one of those moments where the room just settles, all eyes on them, soaking it in. And then came the speeches equal parts heartfelt and joyful. The kind that bring on laughter one minute and happy tears the next. It was emotional in the best way and such a beautiful way to end the day.
