Erin & Isaiah | A Wedding at Trinity Anglican Church & Deer Ridge Golf Club Reception In Kitchener, Ontario

My favourite part of a wedding day is watching my couples be 100% themselves and soak in all the emotions, love, and moments that define a journey they have been on together. Erin and Isaiah's spring wedding was a jam-packed day filled with joy, special events and a ton of family. Let's dive in. 

My journey with Erin & Isaiah started in 2023 with a very enthusiastic message from Erin, who was ready to dive in and start planning her day! Their engagement session at Schnider's Wood, where Erin spent much of her childhood cross-country skiing, was full of life and love. After getting to know this couple, I knew their wedding day would be full of life and family. 

I can't think of a more perfect way for these two to tie the knot than their stunning ceremony at the Trinity Anglican Church in Cambridge, Ontario. The architecture was breathtaking. The gorgeous wood and stained glass made the perfect backdrop for the ceremony that Isaiah's father led. It was truly a magical sight to see every guest singing followed by the heartfelt vows the two exchanged. After the beautiful ceremony, we all headed to Deer Ridge Golf Club for the reception. The decor was stunning, and the Finer Things planning team outdid themselves by bringing the space to life. 

Some of the day's most memorable moments included the rain, which had been steadily falling throughout the morning, suddenly stopped and turned into the most stunning sunshine just in time for the ceremony. It was as if nature was celebrating the union of two souls in love. Next, Erin and Isaiah's wedding party was vibrant, full of energy and laughter all day. They brought an infectious enthusiasm, making every moment feel alive and perfectly matching the couple's personalities. Their presence added a layer of joy, and I couldn't help but smile as I captured their antics. One particular highlight of the reception was the skit Erin's aunts surprised the couple with. It was a heartfelt and hilarious tribute to their love story, filled with inside jokes and fond memories. The room erupted with laughter and applause, creating a sense of connection among the guests. Followed by the skit was the shoe game, a beloved wedding tradition in the family, provided yet another moment of levity and fun. Erin and Isaiah's answers revealed their playful banter and deep affection for one another, and let's be honest, the guests went wild! Finally, a joint parent dance with Erin, her father, and Isaiah with his mother. As Erin and Isaiah took to the dance floor with their parents, the house had no dry eye. 

As my time came to a close, I couldn't help but feel grateful to have been a part of Erin and Isaiah's special day. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, and I felt honoured to have been entrusted with capturing it all through my lens. Moments like these remind me why I do what I do – to freeze time, if only for a moment, and preserve the magic. Erin and Isaiah's wedding was a testament to the magic of a wedding day, and I cannot wait to see their love story blossom!
