Sydney & Oscar's Spring Sweet 16 Mini Session at Cedar Lane Stables
I was beyond flattered when Sydney's mom reached out to me and shared that her daughter had been following my work for a while. Sydney's Sweet 16 wish was a photoshoot with Oscar, and we had to keep the surprise. Her excitement when she found out was incredible, and I couldn't wait to capture this special milestone for her.
The day started a bit rough, with rain in the morning. I thought about rescheduling more than once, but thankfully, the rain clouds cleared up as the day went on and ended up with a mix of clouds and sunshine for the photos. The first half of our session was under a cloudy sky, creating some fantastic, unique shots. Then, we got a small window of sunshine that we celebrated! We laughed non-stop as Oscar took full advantage of the "grass buffet" around him. His playful nature and constant munching added so much personality to the photos.
The bond between Sydney and Oscar was heartwarming and brought so much joy to the session. Their connection made every moment feel genuine and fun. Sydney's radiant smile and Oscar's antics made some truly memorable shots.
Looking back at the photos, I'm so excited for Sydney and what this year will bring her. This sweet 16 photoshoot was just the start of many more amazing moments to come. I'm honoured to have been part of her special celebration and can't wait to capture more memories with Sydney in the future.
